Chapman Shabbat Tea Light Travel Set
We designed this 3D-printed travel Shabbat candle set for moments when lighting an actual flame is not permitted or advisable, while still allowing the sanctity and intention of Shabbat to be honored with meaning and care.
The lid of the box features the Hebrew words שבת קודש (Shabbat Kodesh)—the holy Sabbath—acknowledging a day that is sacred, set apart, and imbued with spiritual significance. Inside the box are the words להדליק נר של שבת, the closing phrase of the blessing recited after lighting the candles.
Lighting candles welcomes the holiness and spirit of Shabbat into our lives, serving as a physical and spiritual acknowledgment of the separation between the sacred and the ordinary. This thoughtfully designed travel set allows that intention to remain present wherever you are.
This piece is customized with the Chapman University Chabad logo, blending mitzvot and campus identity—making it especially meaningful for students, travelers, and members of the Chapman Chabad community.
About This Product
This product is intended for use with LED lights. It is made with PETG filament, which is NOT flame-retardant; it is flame-resistant. The box accommodates 1.43 tea light candles. DO NOT leave actual flames unattended or with the box cover on.
Included: Two flameless wax tealights with a realistic-looking flicker and an LED wick. Each light uses 1 CR2032 coin cell battery, which can be replaced in your local hardware store.
Please note: Because each item is individually 3D-printed, subtle color variations may occur—especially when using multi-color filament—making every piece unique.
